For over 50 years 2K polymer systems has been a leading manufacturer of bonded anchor products for safety critical applications. Our manufacturing origins go back to the 1960s when we supplied chemical anchor products to the mining industry and later in the 1980s we developed our first injection cartridge system for construction anchoring applications. Sustained organic growth and experience gathered over this period has allowed us to become a truly global supplier with brands in more than 90 countries relying on the products that we manufacture.

We serve our customers from two facilities, our 6,000 square meter (65,000 square feet) operation in the UK as well 1,800 square meters (19,400 square feet) in the USA. Our goal is to provide customers with high quality, easy to use and safe chemical anchoring systems that we formulate, develop and manufacture to suit your application and sales channels.

Our capsule in cartridge (CiC) foil system, invented by 2KPS and first launched in 1999, has revolutionized the chemical anchoring market and is a must have in the range in many markets today.

Bonded Anchors

Bonded anchor cartridge systems offer a variety of unique benefits compared to mechanical anchoring techniques. By avoiding mechanical expansion, they introduce no stresses into the substrate and can be installed close to each other and to substrate edges. They also resist high static loads, with some products formally approved for seismic applications. Most resin anchors may be used in a wide variety of substrates and site conditions. If the substrate is hollow, bonded anchors may still be used in conjunction with perforated sleeves.
